For those who are studying for their AAT exams we offer a professional and friendly environment to sit your computer-based assessments.
KCLC is an approved AAT assessment venue, offering regular days and times to sit your exams.

You need to be registered with AAT and have a current membership for the level for the exam you would like to sit. You will need to provide your AAT number and Date of Birth at the time of booking, this is the information that we need to schedule your exam.

What will happen once I have booked my AAT exam?


Once you have booked your AAT exam on the website, you will get an automatic email confirming your booking. Once your booking has been processed you will get another email to confirm your exam.


Once your exam has been scheduled, you will be able to see it on your PSI account. (Please see below if this is your first exam).


You must bring with you: Photo ID which matches your name registered with AAT. 

Please also bring:

  • Your log in details for the PSI software - if you forget your password, this can be reset using the reset password link on the login page. You will need access to your email to reset your password, your username is your AAT membership number.
  • Your favourite pen/pencil/calculator either in a clear case or loose - we have spares you can borrow if you forget, but it is always nice to use instruments that are familiar to you. (please see the guidance below on what to bring on the day regarding restrictions for calculators)
  • You can bring a bottle of water into the exam if you wish.
  • Blank paper will be provided for you during your exam, this cannot be taken from the assessment room and will be collected in at the end of your exam.



Is this your first exam? You will receive an email from PSI which will give you instructions on how to complete the registration for the exam software. You will only need to do this once. Please bring your log in details with you to your exam.

Frequently asked questions


How do I book?

You can book online by clicking the button above. You will need your AAT membership number, Date of birth and payment details at the time of booking.

If your employer is paying for your examinations and is unable to pay by card, please contact us.

When are the exams?

Weekly scheduled exam days are on Tuesday, morning or Friday afternoon, but we may be able to be flexible depending on individual circumstances.

Can I book more than one exam at a time?

Yes! you can book as many exams as you would like. Only 1 exam can be sat at each time slot.

Is there car parking/public transport to the centre?

Our centre is situated a short distance outside the city centre. There is plenty of FREE on street parking that is easily accessible and within a 1-2 minute walk of the centre. The centre is also served by bus routes 8, 9, 10, 26 and 27. Map and full details can be found on our contact us page

What do I need to bring on the day?

You will need to bring your ID with you as stipulated in the AAT guidelines for your course. You will also need your PSI username (This is your AAT number) and your password. Rough paper is provided should you need it, but please note this will not be marked and is not to be removed from the assessment room. You may have on your desks pens, pencils, erasers and calculators. You are permitted to use a scientific calculator.

Calculators must not be used if they:  


  • emit audible tones

  • are able to print

  • allow text, dictionaries or mathematical formulas to be stored and retrieved

  • can communicate with other devices or the internet

  • are functions of a personal organiser, watch or mobile phone

What items are not permitted


  • mobile phones

  • dictionaries

  • memory sticks

  • study text, revision cards, course notes

  • books and papers

  • any other form of digital, electronic, recording or programmable equipment, including, but not limited to:

  • tablets, Dictaphones, smart watches.

  • Personal items and study material should not be brought into the centre as they are not allowed in the exam room.

KCLC currently invigilate exams on behalf of several companies and have fully trained invigilators onsite. Our three IT suites offer delegates a comfortable, friendly and professional environment in which to take CBAs. All our computer suites are set up to meet JCQ regulations.
